
ABOUT
Brie Hill is currently studying with Professor Matt Denman at Oklahoma City University while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. They previously attended Dallas College, from which they recently graduated, they studied under several talented professors including Eddie Healy and Nathan Garrison, as well as had the opportunity to play in several masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Pepe Romero, Dr. Jay Kacherski, Dr. Will Douglas, and Dr. Dan Kyzer among many others.
In 2020, Brie was chosen as the recipient for the "Alice Berding Jones award" which goes to a single music student from each of the Dallas College campuses. During this time, Brie worked for the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra in Dallas, Texas. While still in school and working, they have also composed a few pieces for guitar, including a set of four guitar duets which is entitled “Road of Life” which they recently premiered with their colleague, Conor Jennings, at their sophomore recital in April of 2023.
